We do not demand the minimum quantity of raw material. Deliveries for purchase start from as little as 1 tonne of rapeseed. However, the minimum quantity required for a trade agreement is 25 tonnes.
Payment for deliveries is made on a contractual basis, usually within 14 days of receipt of the raw material delivery invoice.
We are able to organise transport, but suppliers can also use their own transport. We work out the details individually, depending on the location and size of the order. More information will be provided by our representatives.
We require that the moisture content of the seed does not exceed 9% and the level of impurities is no higher than 2%. This allows us to ensure the high quality of the pressed oil.
Yes, the delivered raw material undergoes detailed laboratory testing, including analysis of oil content, moisture levels and the presence of impurities. Only after a positive assessment is obtained is the rapeseed accepted for pressing.
Yes, we are open to long-term cooperation with farmers and suppliers to ensure stability of supply and favourable contractual conditions for both parties.
We currently only buy sustainable rapeseed. Trading companies must be part of a biomass certification scheme and hold the relevant certificate (KZR INiG, REDcert or ISCC). Agricultural manufacturers are not required to certify.
In this case, the signing of the relevant declaration (KZR INiG Agricultural Producer Self-Declaration) is sufficient.
Yes, we work with both large producers and individual farmers. Everyone can count on an individual approach and an offer tailored to the scale of production.
For smaller suppliers who do not have access to their own transport, we can arrange to collect the raw material from the farm. The minimum quantity of rapeseed for collection by our transport is 25 tonnes. The details are agreed during negotiations.
If the raw material does not meet our requirements, the supplier is informed and, depending on the situation, we can offer a lower price for the raw material. If the raw material is of poor quality – we will refuse to accept it.
Rapeseed meal is the product of rapeseed oil pressing. It is a rich source of plant protein and is therefore often used as a feed ingredient for livestock such as cattle, pigs and poultry.
The rapeseed meal we produce contains about 34% protein, as well as minerals and vitamins, including phosphorus, magnesium and B vitamins. It can replace other vegetable proteins such as soya meal.
Yes, our rapeseed meal comes from GMO-free raw material. We guarantee that all our products meet the highest quality standards, including no genetic modification.
We offer the sale of rapeseed meal in various quantities – from smaller batches for local farms to large quantities for industrial feed manufacturers. The minimum order quantity is 25 tonnes.
Yes, we offer transport. We can organise the delivery of rapeseed meal directly to the farm or feed mill, depending on the quantity ordered. The minimum order quantity is 25 tonnes.
Rapeseed meal is safe and suitable for most livestock, especially dairy and beef cattle, pigs and poultry. However, doses should be adjusted according to the species and age of the animals.
Rapeseed meal should be stored in a dry and cool place, protected from moisture, to avoid mould and loss of nutritional value. It also needs to be protected against rodents and other pests.
Yes, rapeseed meal is a good alternative to soya meal. It has a slightly lower protein content, but is more economical and richer in fibre.
Yes, it is possible to order a sample of rapeseed meal to check its quality before placing a larger order. Please contact us to arrange the sample shipment.
Rapeseed oil has a neutral taste and a high content of unsaturated fats. It is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (omega-9) and contains polyunsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6. It also has a high smoke point, making it ideal for frying.
Rapeseed oil extracted from the seeds of double-improved varieties of rapeseed (variety 00) is a versatile oil, suitable for food and industrial purposes, and at the same time considered to be the healthiest vegetable oil in human nutrition.
Yes, rapeseed oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, mainly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is beneficial for heart and brain health. It plays an important role in the functioning of nerve tissues.
Rapeseed oil has one of the lowest levels of saturated fat among vegetable oils, making it a healthy choice. It also contains an ideal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids, which has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and heart. Additional advantages are also:
– high content of oleic acid, which lowers the level of “bad” LDL cholesterol,
– a balanced ratio (2:1) of unsaturated omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids,
– the lowest content of saturated fatty acids among vegetable oils,
– the presence of tocopherols, phytosterols, carotenoids and antioxidant polyphenols.
No, rapeseed oil – like all vegetable oils – does not contain cholesterol.
The energy value of rapeseed oil is approximately 884 kcal per 100 g.
Rapeseed oil is used in cooking – for frying, baking, in salads and sauces. In the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, it is used in personal care products.
In addition, it is used in the production of biofuels, lubricants, printing inks, oleochemicals and many other industrial products.
Yes, rapeseed oil is great for frying as it has a high smoke point (around 240°C) and a high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. Thanks to its high vitamin E (tocopherols) content, it is also quite resistant to oxidation.
Yes, rapeseed oil is often used in skin and hair care cosmetics, thanks to its moisturising and regenerating properties. It contains antioxidants and beta-carotene, which help to protect and renew the skin.
Rapeseed oil is used in industry for the production of biofuels (fatty acid methyl esters), lubricants, industrial oils, printing inks or oleochemicals.
The pressing process involves grinding the rapeseed, heating it and pressing out the oil. It is also possible to press “cold”, without using high temperatures, so that the oil retains more of its natural nutrients.
Cold-pressed oil retains more of the natural nutrients and the original flavour and aroma of the seeds. Refined oil, on the other hand, is free of impurities, has a longer shelf life and a more neutral taste, but contains slightly fewer natural active substances.
Unrefined rapeseed oil has more natural nutrients and a more pronounced flavour, but a shorter shelf life. Refined rapeseed oil is more durable and performs better at high frying temperatures.
The rapeseed oil produced by Best Oil meets the highest quality standards and is produced under a certified Integrated Quality System (HACCP, PN-EN ISO 9001:2015, VLOG). It also has a confirmed kosher status.
We ensure the highest quality by rigorously controlling the raw material, monitoring the production process and using independent accredited laboratories to confirm the absence of GMOs in our products.
No, Best Oil produces rapeseed oil exclusively from non-genetically modified (NON-GMO) rapeseed.
Consumption of rapeseed oil supports cardiovascular health, lowers “bad” cholesterol, has anti-inflammatory effects and boosts immunity. Thanks to omega-3 fatty acids, it has a positive effect on the functioning of the nervous system and vitamin E has an antioxidant effect.
Additionally, the rapeseed oil:
– improves the digestive and respiratory systems,
– supports blood clotting processes,
– has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin.
Yes, rapeseed oil is considered to be very beneficial for the cardiovascular system. It contains low levels of saturated fat and valuable omega-3 and omega-6 acids, which have a positive effect on heart muscle and circulation.
Rapeseed oil contains mainly healthy unsaturated fats, recommended even for low-fat diets. However, it is important to keep moderation in the use of each oil.
Yes, rapeseed oil contains vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids, which help to regenerate and moisturise the skin. It influences its elasticity, can soothe inflammation and, when applied externally, promotes the healing of minor irritations.
Rapeseed oil is safe and recommended for children and pregnant women due to its favourable fatty acid profile, including omega-3 fatty acids. However, as always, it is worth keeping its use in moderation.
At Best Oil, we focus on sustainable agriculture and audit the supply chain for compliance with environmental programmes. We minimise water and energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions. We verify the status of the land from which the oilseed rape is sourced in order to prevent the degradation of highly biodiverse areas.
For years, we have been calculating and successively reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the production process, preferring suppliers with the lowest possible GHG emissions from cultivation.
Yes, we source oilseed rape from certified crops that care for the soil, water resources and biodiversity. This allows us to guarantee high oil quality and minimal environmental impact.
Rapeseed oil has a lower carbon footprint than many other vegetable oils. The cultivation of rapeseed in Poland requires less energy for transport compared to oils imported from distant countries. In addition, the plant contributes to improving soil quality and biodiversity in the regions where it is grown.
